Malaga Weekender 2027 - Festival Edition featuring Semana Santa (Holy Week)
Street photography weekend workshop with Polly Rusyn
Spend a weekend photographing one of Spain’s most dramatic public festivals with expert street photography guidance.
Join me, Polly, and a small group of street photographers for an unforgettable weekend photographing one of Spain's most visually stunning events. See the pointed hats of the Nazarenes, pained Penitents carrying giant floats, smell the incense, hear the brass bands, and experience big crowds, small details, people waiting, people watching, people crying. You do not need to be religious to find it moving!

Semana Santa processions are weather dependent, and can get cancelled if it rains. This is obviously outside of my control, and the workshop itinerary will be adjusted accordingly. I highly recommend extending your stay beyond the Weekender into the rest of Holy Week.
